I went against my endo's recommendation and choose what I thought to be the least invasive drug with the fewest side effects after I was unable to take Fosamax. I was on for two years with no benefit but no side effects as well. I ended up with four months of unused Tymlos when I was all through. Tried to give it away and was told that was illegal.

I’ve had multiple prophylactic surgeries to prevent cancer (family history is strong)
I was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis which my doctor considers “severe”, especially for my age (45)
She is recommending I begin Forteo/Tymlos, Prolia or Reclast in that order (she feels oral meds are second to injection/infusion due to absorption).
