I am nearing the end of my third month of tymlos. Other than the heart palpitations at the beginning and my hands hurting big time, not sure I notice any difference. Starting to develop carpel tunnel in my left thumb but I am a righty. Don’t know if this if due to tymlos or not. When new things happen, we blame it on whatever we believe to be the cause? Can’t wait to get a bone scan to see if this has made any difference. If not, I will quit. Who likes to stick themselves with a needle daily? Although I must admit, it is so fine, no big deal (sometimes, don’t even feel it!)...........Stay well and healthy!
I started Tymlos in July. My back is aching and I hope it’s not a side effect. Radius health is doing a study to compare the shot to the patch. They will pay for the medication, if you are interested? It’s for one year.
I was injecting 80 mcg at night but the screaming headache and nausea made me back the dose to 50. My bones are so painful and fragile.
Joyce and Pam, have you been injecting the entire dose of 80 mcg? I don't have the nerve to go over 40 mcg because of the way it makes me feel. Did your side effects start out bad and improve over time?
