I was doagnosed with advance Osteoporosis in September last year. In October I had my first Prolia injection. Two months later I was hospitalised with severe Diverticulatis. Per my PCP's advise I took Actonel for my severe osteoporosis. After 10 mos. I stopped taking it because of the horrible side effects (fever, nausea, digestive issues, hair loss). He is now pushing me to take Prolia and I really want to try a natural route (without side effects) for a year until my next bone density test. Thinking of AlgaeCal Plus/Strontium Boost. I have osteopenia of more than 10 years duration. My MD would like me to take Fosamax.
