EXPERIENCE WITH PROLIA

EXPERIENCE WITH PROLIA

I was doagnosed with advance Osteoporosis in September last year. In October I had my first Prolia injection. Two months later I was hospitalised with severe Diverticulatis. Bad Prolia reviews started to invade my life. The fear took me to see an Endocronologist. She advised I stay on Prolia and in December review my results,
. I am scared to go for my second injection. Has anyone here experinced Prolia as a treatment?

Medication That Does Not Cause Osteonecrosis Of The Jaw

Medication That Does Not Cause Osteonecrosis Of The Jaw

I have osteopenia of more than 10 years duration. My MD would like me to take Fosamax. I have bad teeth--I receive regular dental care and floss and brush with prescription strength fluoride toothpaste like I'm supposed to, but I have numerous crowns/fillings, 4 implants, I've had several root canals and broken teeth. I'm wondering what besides Prolia or biphosphanates I could take. I am afraid of osteonecrosis of the jaw--I'm also afraid of breaking a hip. I take calcium and Vit D supplements… read more

Has Anyone Been On Prolia For More Than A Year And Had Increase Bone Density Results Without Any Side Effects?

Has Anyone Been On Prolia For More Than A Year And Had Increase Bone Density Results Without Any Side Effects?

Per my PCP's advise I took Actonel for my severe osteoporosis. After 10 mos. I stopped taking it because of the horrible side effects (fever, nausea, digestive issues, hair loss). He is now pushing me to take Prolia and I really want to try a natural route (without side effects) for a year until my next bone density test. Thinking of AlgaeCal Plus/Strontium Boost. Any opinions?

I have arthritis in my knees especially the left knee, I am asking do I have to do a knee surgery or can Prolia help to avoid surgery in the future, Is ProLiant prescribed by the doctor

A MyOsteoTeam Member said:

I get a cortisone shot in my left knee about every 2 to 3 years. Ask your doctor about that. My doctor about 8 years or so wanted me to get a knee replacement but I opted to get the shots instead
