I always thought that the pain in my joints, especially in my hands and knees was just part of aging. Now I don't know if the pain is from osteo or just age

I refused bone meds out of fear of side effects and have suffered four vertebral fractures and scoliosis. I am miserable and now my oncologist says they probably can’t be fixed by Kyphoplasty because I have discs involved. But I need an MRI and to see a neurosurgeon. I’ve been in a recliner for seven months and I feel my life is over. Can anyone relate or help me?

How long did it take to feel better? Before it doesn't hurt or I can walk normally? Or exercise? It's been 8 days now.

I have been diagnosed with 2 compression fractures one of T7 and L4 over a year ago, T7 still causes me pain especially when I'm on my feet for extended periods of time and when I perform house cleaning jobs such as vacuuming and mopping floors. I work in retail so I have no alternative but to be on my feet for 7 to 8 hours a day. Everything I've read said they should heal within 6 to 8 weeks but I just dont that is my case. Any feed back is welcome!

Hi, new member here. Im 52, diagnosed 2010. No medicine. No issues. Then a year ago I had a sciatic nerve (ie-rod in leg feeling) issue & lower back pain. A few mths later I had a multiple fractures from my neck to tail bone. 6mths ago had kyphoplasty on 3 thorasic,3 lumbar. DXA -5.6 spine, -4.0 both hips. Been on tymlos 4 mths. My 7 spinal compression fractures have occurred over many years, starting when I was 52 years old. I am now 75, and have been fracture free for 2 1/2 years. I go for walks with and without poles, but my back still hurts a lot, but I push through it. Is this safe?

Over the last month I have had an odd occurrence of pain and weakness in my legs. It has happened three times. Suddenly I feel a whoosh of pain in my back that shoots down my legs. Pain subsides relatively quickly however my legs feel very heavy and weak. Makes it difficult to walk and stand. Am wondering if it is all related to my osteoporosis in my spine and hip. Scary when this happens.

I get spine compression fractures
