Hello Gale3. I received Reclast IV for a year. Then I had another spinal fracture and am now in the 8th year of Prolia. In 2025, I will go back to the Reclast as I have to have a Prolia holiday. Because of the bone loss that will occur I will need 3 infusions of Reclast before returning to the twice yearly Prolia injection. There are mild symptoms like aching, fatigue. All of these medications are risky but I can’t afford any more fractures if possible. Good luck to you.
It has been very beneficial to me as well, however, I’m on annual infusions. No symptoms and also seeing improvement!
I have not sorry. I have read that they have symptoms, perhaps more common than some other bone medications. Some of these symptoms are said to settle so need to give a chance for flu like symptoms & nausea etc to pass. Like most things we don't know unless we try them on our unique selves.
I wish you good luck whatever you decide if considering. 🙂
Thank you all.an Prayers 🙏❤️ to all
Hello I'm having my third RECLAST this month.
I supplement with vitamin D3 and Caltrate.
My bone density has improved by 16% which amazes my doctor.
I've had minimal side effects so far, mild headache, nausea for a short time.
I was very reluctant to take RECLAST, fortunately it has been very beneficial for my bone health.
