Reading collagen is good for bone density.
Yes, I take vit D, vit K2, collagen & magnesium. I get calcium from yogurt, cottage cheese & milk. London ♥️
I am now taking collagen along with many other supplements recommended by Dr. Keith McCormick: K2 MK4, K2 MK7, NAC, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Curcumin, Boron, Magnesium, D3, Berberine,... too long to list them all. I was diagnosed 2 months with T score -3.5 two so won't know the affect of supplements until next DEXA scan after endocrinologist consult in 2 months. Miraculously no fractures so far but this could change I know. I enlisted an integrative health physician who can order a CTX bone marker blood test. Hopefully this will give me valuable information to help make future decisions.
I take collagen, vitamins K-2 MK7, Magnesium, D-3, Omega 3, low calcium supplement 29% with the D-3 and K-2 MK7. I took all these supplements with the exception of the calcium supplement and after taking them for a year my T score went from -3.1 to -3.4, so now I take all them still and Fosamax. Will see how the next dexa score is.
Hi Josie.It’s worth trying it.
