Before making a choice on treatment for osteo be conscious of other underlying medical conditions that dr or drs should be totally aware of before treatment and medication a person is presently taking. Some medication can be in conflict with detrimental side effects so ultimately it is a trial and error with the hopes there is improvement while taking care of diet and physical exercise to improve bone health. IT's wonderful to learn many people have success with particular medication... sadly one medication does not fit all. We just want improvement on bone health and an alternative medication to build bone health. Dr explained each medication works different on all people.

I can only say what worked for me. I had a bisphosphonate, iIbandronicacid, for over 10 years. allendronic acid didn't work for me. Gave me headaches. Anyway now on a break before hopefully they will give me something in a year's time. I am still uprigjt, albeit smaller now. And a bit bendy.
