I went to Osteostrong for over two years and my scan showed I was still losing bone. My doctor increased my dose of alendronate and I am now working with a personal trainer.

I believe it was alendronate. It's been so long I can't remember. I'm filling out paperwork now to get a copy of all my records from her since she is retiring and I've moved out of the state. I'll be able to answer questions more accurately very soon. 🤣
I just know I don't want to take anything that would cause my bones to retain old brittle bone. Reminds me of pouring new wine into an old wineskin.

I absolutely love OsteoStrong. Unfortunately I wasn't able to be consistent, too much travel, illness, etc.
I had my first Dexascan, was given a prescription, but never too it after looking up the side effects. I went back to my GYN a little over a year later for my annual exam and she asked how I was doing with the meds. After telling her I never started them, I asked what she knew about OsteoStrong. She went to her cabinet and pulled out their brochure and said it would do 10 times more for me than the prescription would.

I didn't know what it was. It may have some benefits for muscle strength and balance, however, I am not so sure . I just looked at a posting by Dr Lani Simpson she gives a good explanation. I think I will stick with walking. Mabe better to invest in a gym membership that has treadmill. Check it out
