Don’t get me started on Prolia. Doctors get kickbacks from Amgen for Prolia. I won’t put that in my body.

That’s the millon dollar question. How about positive DEXA results following medication? Most answers I’ve found concerning medication are painful side effects, little to no improvement. A few people have little to no side effects short-term and claim their bones are stronger. It’s a mixed bag as everyone is different. The long-term results are not clear to me. Good luck finding a definative answer. 😼

Good morning-
I hope that you are having a blessed and pain free day- today and every day.
So, 2 weeks ago- I started on my BioTe therapy.
Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.
They insert pellets into your buttocks area.
I have not had a dexa scan- as of yet.
But, I do know one thing for sure-I have had much less pain every day - since I started it.
Suffering with Fibromyalgia and Osteoporosis for probably over 30 years- my life is starting to turn around in so many ways.
I feel like I have been blessed with miracles in my body mind and spirit.
I cannot explain how much better - I am feeling!
I am more focused- I am taking less pain meds- I am feeling stronger- I have more energy - sleeping so much better- plus so much more.
The only bad part is the cost.
It is $360 for each treatment.
I will need them 3 times a year.
Insurance will not cover it.
So the really crazy part of this-
It truly helps so many people- in soooo many ways.
It is completely natural.
So what is the problem?
I believe because it is the most effective thing to heal so many diseases- the drug companies are not going to make any $$$.
This is something that I would recommend to anyone and everyone.
So, insurance will pay for the synthetic hormones- which cause many diseases.
But to have something natural- coming in to help with rebuilding bones.
Ummmm- no.
It has so many different uses.
Probably the best one of all- is reversing bone loss.
Building muscle and losing fat.
I am praying that the FDA will change their attitude about this amazing therapy.
I can only wish that I would have known about this- while going through menopause.
It would have saved me so many years of being bedridden in pain- every day.
God bless you and everyone on this site.
Hugs ❤

On top of that, if you stop Prolia you are at great risk of spontaneous fractures, among so many other things :(

Thank you for that. Nice to hear a positive result! Are you in the US? I'm in Florida. Is BioTe the brand name?
