I had dramatic bone loss in my jaws from osteoporosis, my dentist hasn't seen this before. I guess he doesn't have many patients with Osteoporosis.

Hi Linda, from experience you need to ensure full dental check ups along with visits to the hygienist. Dental bone mass is lost over a period of time.

I guess I have to go!! Darn. It will cost me$1000.00 for this procedure and cleaning! Does this amt. seem right? I will use my $1400.00 just for this. Crap! Osteoporosis is bad enough and then I have to worry about my teeth!! I am 75. Really?! Thanks everyone for getting back to me so soon. I really appreciate it.
