Thank you for your info Earthlady. I signed up, expecting to see an improvement in my bone skan numbers after treatment for 13 yrs with oral meds. I also do Tai Chi, walk, hand wts. After 2 yrs, skan showed no improvement, spine now in neg numbers, went from osteopenia to osteoporosis. Quit OsteoStrong, am now trying Prolia.

I went to a free session last year and was amused. First, of course, they have to mortify you by taking your weight and height. They test your balance. Then, they sat me on this machine which measures your strength in arms and legs. Push, hold, release. After that 5 minute test, I was asked to stand on a platform that shook me all up for about 10 minutes. I thought that was fun but questioned how good that was for my back with every disk bulging. The ending is where I lay on a cot/bed for 15 minutes but I forget what that was supposed to do. There was no exercise. Before I left, I was instructed to do more physical activity at home and they would take my strength measurement the following week if I chose to sign up. I did not think this was worth my money. If there is more convincing research done on their methods, maybe I would reconsider.

Welcome 67lizziegirl ! To answer your question I would assume the exercises would be of benefit , being active is important for Osteoporosis !

Does anyone have daily injections of Tymlos? They're working on help with my whopping co-pay, but I'd like to hear from someone who's used it.
