Members responded to a question about vitamin D supplements causing heart palpitations, with several sharing their own unexpected reactions to vitamin D, including joint pain that resolved after stopping the supplement and mouth blisters from high doses. Many members offered practical advice, such as taking lower doses every other day, staggering vitamin intake, adding vitamin K2 for bone health, and keeping vitamin B and K separated when taking them. A recurring theme was frustration that doctors often dismissed these reactions, alongside the shared experience of learning to trust one's own body and advocate for adjustments in dosing or timing.
