Members discussed whether vitamin D3, K2, calcium, and magnesium are all needed daily for bone strength, with most agreeing that K2 is important to take alongside calcium and vitamin D3 for the best effect on bone health. Several members shared their personal routines, including taking K2 in the morning, D3 in the evening after meals, and calcium with magnesium a few times a week, while also getting Prolia injections every six months and regular bone density scans. A recurring theme was the value of checking with a doctor or pharmacist about supplement timing, dosage, and toxicity, especially since opinions on K2 can vary among medical providers.

Yes. If your levels have been measured and you've been advised to take
those supplements, then it is indeed very important. They help prevent bone
fractures.

Be well 😉

Hi bird lady, from my understanding to get the full effect of Vit D then it needs to have K2 when we are dealing with Osteoporosis. That said I am interested in peoples views of time of day as I just got told to take it but never said a time of day.
You don’t have a lack of sunshine in your area usually, although I believe you are having a lot of rain at the moment.

I would ask your provider or a pharmacist. I would worry about toxicity with vitamin D. But yes, both of those are important.
