What exercise videos do you all recommend for someone with spine fractures?
Glad you are pleased with it Betsy. It has been a real find for me.

I’m sure if you were confined to a wheelchair you would think differently. It’s not as bad as people think in fact it has some benefits I’ve found lol. Can take kids to the Zoo or Royal… read more
In addition to osteoporosis, I have severe osteoarthritis in hips, knees, and feet. This is seriously impairing my ability to do many of the recommended exercises. I know I need to exercise, just seeking a program that I can do and not cause significantly more pain but still benefit from. This is all quite a balancing act!
I attend a community center where I attend 4 hours of silver sneakers exercise weekly. Excellent. Aerobics, line dancing, kick boxing. In summer, We do aquatic aerobics in outdoor pool. Love it!
I do gentle excercises every Wednesday with physiotherapist and I do these excercises sometimes as I feel able. Should I do more

I was diagnosed today. I haven’t stopped crying. I have been a very healthy person. I’m scared after reading about the side effects of all those medications. I wonder if there are people who have decided not to take any medication and treat it just with a good diet and exercise. Is that a good idea?
Thanks,
What exercises should I not do after yrs of treatment?
Anyone get prior approval (from primary or specialist or Napropath/functional doc) before starting to exercise?
Thanks
I have been diagnosed with 2 compression fractures one of T7 and L4 over a year ago, T7 still causes me pain especially when I'm on my feet for extended periods of time and when I perform house cleaning jobs such as vacuuming and mopping floors. I work in retail so I have no alternative but to be on my feet for 7 to 8 hours a day. Everything I've read said they should heal within 6 to 8 weeks but I just dont that is my case. Any feed back is welcome!
I'm afraid of doing anything except walking and swimming for fear of hurting myself, but I get bored with these. My osteoporosis is mild in my spine and moderate in my hips. I've had two crush fractures. My back can be extremely painful. I've tried Pilates and yoga, but some of the excersises really hurt my upper back, so I end up not doing anything! I used to love cycling, but I've lost all my confidence and can't balance anymore as I'm so scared of falling off.
