Not sure if I answered before but I stopped fosomax after my hair fell out in handfuls ( telegen effluvium) three months after I started. At 6 months I figured out a link and read of other accounts… read more
When I was first diagnosed with osteoporosis 4 years ago, I was prescribed Fosomax. I developed esophagitis from the drug and stopped taking it. Following a wrist fracture and subsequent surgery to repair damage, I was referred to an endocrinologist who prescribed Prolia. I wish I had researched that drug before getting the shot because I was miserable for over 6 months with many adverse side effects. After researching online and reading here, it seems like the plant based calcium is the way to go, so I’m trying to decide between Aquaecal, Jarrow Bone-Up, Garden of Life Calcium Raw & OsteoMD. I don’t care about what they cost, I just want to start the one that is the best and has given others results. I’m having trouble figuring out which of the 4 is the… read more
