Wel, Helen, l will try to do a bit better than ai...ππ€ͺ I have a spinal crush fracture, which is healing. It has caused me a lot of pain at work, with different pain than from the herniated discs. The discs caused numbness and prickling sensations over my outer thigh, and sometimes, bad pain over the whole area. For a while, the fracture caused severe electric type shocks in that thigh, like someone had a live power cord and would keep hitting my leg with it, over and over!! It was awful. A nurse thought I was lying, and was exaggerating about pins and needles, but this was way beyond that. Also severe electrical pain all over that area. It lasted about 4 months, and then gradually went away. I haven't had it for about a year. And the scans say that my skeleton is getting stronger, and l know that it's all new bone. So l can only assume that the fracture is mending, too. I hope and pray that yours will follow the same path, and you will soon find that the sensation had gone. Which will mean that the fracture is healing and rebuilding. Hope this is helpful. Keep getting well! . Love and hugs. God bless. β€οΈπβ€οΈπͺπ€ΈππΌπΊπ΅οΈπΈ
Hi Helen, l do hope that things are improving for you! I am praying for your swift and sure recovery.
I am no longer in paid work, as the museum has been temporarily closed, and if/when they reopen, it will be with volunteers. I am poorer, but way less stressed, physically and mentally! I still have backpain when l overdo, pushing or pulling, or carrying, but l'm getting better at not, and of course, am still healing well. I am still exclusively using supplements, which is working very effectively.
I now volunteer with our local history group, recording and filing documents: a bit ho-hum, but as long as l get up and tend to the roses now and then, for a break, it's okay. Walking to and from is good exercise and not stressful, as it's only half a km away. Keep getting well, my friend!
Love and hugs, and continued prayers... Bev x0 πβ€π«ππͺπ¦΄π€ΈββοΈπΈπ
Hello Helen. I have had 11 days respite care recently with all that you describe. Not at all pleasant. Trust that you are now feeling more comfortable. Regards Joan.
Oh bev thanku for supportive reply. It gives encouragement. It's 4yrs since my life changed forever. Last yr had zolendrate infusion and since then 2 hospital stays...new challenges everyday but the red angry legs now burning feet is on another level.
You're lucky you work ....I worked til day of accident...drove lived in canary islands....im a realist and know nothing last forever. I got through severe anxiety not knowing whats happening to me.
The burning they say venus insufficiency but im convinced from nerve compression in lower back.
Not beingvable to make plans is my biggest problem due to nerve pain. Im staying in London with friends which is nice just limited in what I can do.
Ill not ramble on but thanku for explaining the electric shock in legs.
Keep working for as long as able as keeping busy is what keeps you going.
God bless Helen
