Oh no. What kind of side effects did the Zoledronic Acid infusion cause?

I finished a 10 year course of Prolia (Denosumab) with no horrible side effects. However I did notice my skin did become dry with various lesions here & there on my body and also my hair seemed to thin and lacked it's normal thickness & bounce. However after finishing (10 years is maximum) I have noticed my hair is returning to it's previous condition but most importantly my scan at the end showed I am osteopenic. On yearly Zoledronic Acid infusion now which have affected me more than Prolia ever did.

Common side effects of Prolia include:
* Bone or muscle pain
* Gastrointestinal issues like nausea or diarrhea
* Fatigue
* Headache
Rarely, Prolia can cause very low calcium levels or jaw problems. It's also important to stay on schedule with this medication, as stopping suddenly can increase the risk of spinal fractures.
If you're experiencing eczema or any new skin issues while taking Prolia, it's important to discuss this with your healthcare provider. They can help determine if there's a connection and whether any adjustments to your treatment plan are needed.
Many MyOsteoTeam members share their experiences with Prolia side effects, so you're not alone in navigating these concerns.
