Members came together to discuss daily supplements and vitamins for managing osteoporosis, sharing their own routines and offering friendly encouragement to the original poster. Several members shared that they take calcium, Vitamin D3, magnesium, and zinc daily, with one member noting great results on a recent bone density scan and crediting her supplement routine. A recurring theme was the importance of checking with a doctor before adjusting supplements, especially when managing costs on a fixed income, with members also sharing experiences managing macular degeneration and other related health concerns.

Hi there Judy, Saturday morning, with another warm day.
My eldest daughter is calling for me in a couple of hours to take me to her granddaughters Christmas Ballet.
Have a good weekend, your old friend Joan xxx

Hi Judy, l should be in bed, but saw this, so will reply while l remember! 🙂
I take calcium, vit D3 and magnesium every day, twice a day. The vit K2(7) will flush away any excess calcium, so there's no problem with it building up in your heart or kidneys. And you can't really take too much vit D3, until you get to about 40,000 iu, so even with the sunlight you get whilst walking, and taking it twice a day, you would still be fine.
Did you see my post about my recent good results from my bone density scan? My doctor told me that whatever l was doing, to keep going, because it is working! She is both surprised and very pleased.
So am l. Even with all the stress I've been under, my bones have been building.
Love and hugs to you, Judy. I must go to bed! 😊😴❤️💪

Hello dear Judy, yes I received the injection yesterday afternoon.
There is a possibility that you could now be with your Nurse. Blessings, I trust all goes well.
We have yet another warm day 29 C, but it is to go down to 17 overnight.
Best of weekends for you, Love Joan xxx

@A MyOsteoTeam Member hello I hope ! you are able to get the Prolia injection soon. I’m feeling rather tired tonight and I’m going to get ready for bed soon as I have a big day tomorrow that requires me to go to my doctors appointment at midday and see the Nurse as part of my half yearly care plan review so I will see how that goes! I feel quite well at present so hopefully everything goes smoothly tomorrow.

Have a good week my friend

Hugs from Judyxx
