Members responded warmly to a question about whether to take extra calcium while on Prolia, sharing that calcium needs vary greatly from person to person based on bloodwork results. Several members described adjusting their calcium intake based on their levels, with some stopping calcium pills due to high readings while others continued taking calcium with D3 twice daily for years without side effects. A recurring theme was trusting your bloodwork and working with your doctor to find the right balance, with many also taking supportive supplements like magnesium, K2, collagen, and vitamin D3.

I was on the calcium tablets but stopped taking them because my calcium
was too high. I am getting the injection in my knees but they can't do both
at same time so it's my worst leg first

Thank you Mimilee
After reading various post from my Osteo friends i think it's best I keep taking my calcuim pills as normal until I get schedule bloodwork od vitamin D.I say this because when first diagnosed with Osteoporosis in2014 I was taking the maximum dose of calcuim and bloodwork shown my calcuim levels too high had to stop a couple of months until it read normal. Therefore it's best I trust in my bloodwork and God.Thanks for the info. It always appreciated.
Sending hugs 🫂 have a blessed day
