Had my appointment at hospital it confirmed osteonecrosis of the jaw it’s when no blood circulates and causes bone death hence why pain swelling and jaw pain the dead bone finds it way out through your gums which mine did leaving large holes around gum line antibiotics for 8weeks and follow up check ups to keep eye on it hope this helps

I don't have to worry about grey teeth! Thanks to osteoporosis or the drugs I was given I no longer have any teeth! They would get loose and just fall out. Perfectly good teeth. The dentist pulled the last few. Unfortunately I have never got any dentures that fit right.

Just had root of tooth out to see if it is that , dentist said was a slight infection there so wait and see .(.I had a stroke last March) .At present can't get dentures back so not chewing on that side anyway ! Still taking alendronic acid once a week.Good to be in group anyway.x.

I have recently had jaw pain near my back teeth as well, and wondering if I need to see my doctor or my dentist. I hope somebody has the answer,
