Have anyone had a root canal while taking Bisphosphonate medications such as Fosamax? Had any side effects in your jaw bone?

I had one while taking Zometa infusions. No problems.

@ RuthHawkins, I think I would have a break from that drug, before root canal dental work.
I know u have to with prolia injections. Hugs Josie xo

Hope things are well with you thanks for responding back with information, I read this applies to tooth extraction or surgery I'm going to ask my dentist can he place a crown over the tooth . Have a nice night God bless
