Members shared their experiences taking vitamin K2 supplements to support bone health, with many combining it with vitamin D3, magnesium, and calcium for better absorption and results. Several members reported measurable improvements, including increased vitamin D levels and stable bone density scans, while others mentioned helpful additions like prunes, marine organic calcium to avoid constipation, and regular exercise routines. A recurring theme was the importance of consulting doctors before starting K2, especially for those with blood clot history, and a shared frustration that even with diligent supplementation and lifestyle changes, bone health can still decline with age.

When I started to take vitamin K my vitamin D increased from 32 to 40 in four months. My last Dexa scan did not have much change at all. I also have 4 prunes a day which is good for your bones

Ellieann, I am wondering if you hadn't taken all those helpful supplements, how much worse your bones would be??? I believe all those supplements helped your bones more than you think.

I take a D3 and K2 combo pill and have for years. They say the D3 works better when they are combined. Ive never had a problem. My spine numbers keep getting lower but then i take other things too and exercise.

Ellieann, do you take 600 of calcium every morning and another 600 at night?
I used to take calcium carbonate 3 times a day, but it was giving me constipation.
I now take a marine organic calcium, and my yearly blood calcium results have increased significantly.

Natural food sources are "always" the best, but I do not eat enough greens and veggies, so I rely on the supplements
