I did Prolia twice yearly for 4 years, then it stopped helping so I got a Reclast infusion last May and now am due to start daily at home Tymlos injections for two years before going back to Prolia. This is supposed to cause new bone growth. Waiting on insurance approval. My next Dexa scan is due in August. Have a great day y'all!
@ AprilBunch, as well as prolia injections, I also take vitamin C,D3,K2, zinc, magnesium & cod live oil capsules. I am having a day home, which is good. My t score for my back is -6 which is severe. The rest between -2.5 & -3.5.
We r having a lot of rain this week & last. I am busy getting quotes for blinds & built in wardrobe.
Cheers Josie xo
Hiya! Gotcha. I think my insurance has no approved the Tymlos injections. I have to check on it. I got home from my MS trip and have been catching up since. Hope you are doing well.
Morning! Osteoporosis sucks! Mine never got out of severe category after 4 years of Prolia. I now have approval for the Tymlos injections so I guess that is being processed. I do not look forward to that. I guess I did too much Monday even though all I did was volunteer (but I did handle several 12 packs of soda) then swept when I got home and now my wrist is flared up and in a brace. It was fixed about 15 years ago and has never been any more trouble until now. Praying this reigns it back in.
Sounds good on your at home day and getting ready for your blinds and walk in closet. Been a month now since a tree limb fell on our house and still waiting on the roof to be replaced, then to fix the other damage it caused. Bad storms expected here later today so I best get around. Have a great day!
