Thank you so much London! The therapist took back the exercise sheets. I should have kept them. I do the exercises I remember but, honestly, I don't do them every single day. Am going to go back to the hospital and get some sheets back. I can use the arm but if I turn it a certain way it hurts all the way up my neck and across the back of that shoulder. Am grateful that I am righthanded and able to do things with that arm. I did therapy 3x a week for 3 months. The pain med (ibuprofen) affected my kidneys, gave me a number of 29 on my bloodwork. We realized it was this that affected my number of kidney function. I stopped taking the pills and my number went back to 68. It was terrifying as I thought it was dialysis time. I want to say I have had both my knees replaced and I can run with no pain. I pray your knee gets better. I had bone on bone, both knees, so had no choice regarding surgery. My first surgeon was the hockey team's doctor in MI. The second knee was done in FL by the Lightning Hockey team surgeon. I research my doctors religiously before I use them. I am going to start this year by going back to the hospital and get my sheets back. I hope you have a blessed New Year. Big hugs.

I've had frozen shoulders. PT didn't help much. It took about a year for them to heal. The good news is I regained full range of motion in both shoulders. Wishing you a full recovery!

Hi. The physical therapist had me do the exercises there & gave me several pages with drawings & exercises to do every day at home. I was very consistent doing the exercises cause I was very serious wanting to get better. I seem to remember a broom stick horizontally & raising it above my head, in front of my body & in back, gently as far lifted as our bodies will allow. I remember leaning over side of counter, hanging the bad arm, relaxed - down & then slowly swinging it back & forth. I also was given a contraption which hung on door, had a rope with pulley & with each hand pulled rope as far back of u on ur side & kept going back & forth. I understand how u feel about no surgery. I will b 78 in April. I am currently uneasy about my yet undiagnosed knee, afraid if it is meniscus, that Dr might suggest surgery & I don't want that for several reasons. Praying for both of us. Hugs. London ♥️

I have used a Tens machine and it helps with the pain but does not help with the extension/movement of my shoulder. Am thinking I want to first ask my orthopedic doctor to do the manipulation and then the surgery if the manipulation doesn't work. I don't want to have surgery unless I have to, I'm 80 and Diabetic and don't heal as fast as when I was younger. Did you do intense exercises at your medical center like I did. My therapist would manipulate my arm but not to the point of my having pain,,
Thank you for your reply.

I had forgotten till I saw ur question. 20 yrs ago had frozen shoulder. I seem to remember that would use an electric? or whatever impulse stimulator & then I did good intense exercises consistently everyday & got better. The best to u. And a healthy & happy New Year. London ♥️
