Nope, sorry to say. In fact, I fell & fractured my femur in 3 places while taking Fosamax, this past April. My primary doc referred me to an endocrinologist, and Iā€™m now on teriparatide daily injection. My osteoporosis is considered severe; the fall was from standing in a parking lot, so not off a roof or anything. My best friends husband broke his femur falling off the roof, literally. She jokes that he fell 6 feet & I fell 6 inches w the same result.
