Hi Joan Woodward yes I've got the same and I just thought I'd strained my neck but I did think it was arthritis I've found a scarf wrapped around my neck helps with a gentle exercise of moving my my neck from side to side up n down and rotating it stops it from stiffing up I also find that mine sometimes crack carolxxx

Be assured your not on your own with this one. I seem to get this on & off but never took any notice of it as my pain relief helped to remove the pain eventually.
I'm so surprised its common symptom with our Osteoporosis.
I'm on Meds & Injections for a number of Years, I can assure you these pains wont harm you. I'm still here. 👋
Please try not to worry. Summer dry conditions can help to alleviate a lot of the pain & discomfort we experience. I'm living in Southern Ireland and we are heading into our Summer Season following a long cold & wet Winter with pain.

I suffer the same, you are not alone!
I think when your neck is involved it's a little more weird ( for want of a better word) especially when the pain and strange sensations travel up inside your head. I have the added pleasure of my scalp feeling as though some one is continually hitting it with those metal bristle brushes!

Hello joanwoodward I've had mine now for about 3 months I thought mine was a strained neck as I'm in a wheel chair and my family think it's funny pushing me past a shelf in the supermarket so I have to really twist or scan my neck I have problems with not able to turn my neck to the right age hasn't got any thing to do with it as young people get arthritis but wear n tear yes and has we get older every thing seems to go south carolxx

Hello Joan, yes it is very painful. Mine is playing up today. There has been a frost this morning, the cooler weather doesn't really help.
Carry on each day, try new things when possible, that often takes the mind off with working things out.
