I broke my femur but that was from a fall. My 7th vertebrae is also fractured. That might’ve happened when I fell too but not sure.

I have not heard that there is any warning signs, however, I wouldn't be surprised. Spontaneous fractures can happen any time. Good question for your doctor.

I get pains in legs and my knee kills.no falls or broken bones if your lower back starts to hurt check it out it could be sciatica. My legs hurt if I sit on the couch and put them up go figure. I keep moving around laying down is the only thing that feels good.feel better. Talk soon.Going into Shands 5/18. For surgery. I also broke my femur but my leg just gave out and then I fell. No warning. This is the third surgery I have had to try and repair the femur and stimulate bone growth. Hopefully the third time is the charm.
