Wendy Taylor, insurance may cover it. Mine did. And in the US, Medicare covers it. If you have taken Fosamax or Actonel with no problems, Evinity should cause no problems either. According to my doctor.

I am not familiar with this medication. Have you googled the drug? Hope someone can give you info. Let me know what happens.

The drug is Evenity. Evenity is an injection every month. . I have not taking anything yet.. doing research.. I have been told 1200 calcium including that in food and supplements. 2000 vitamin D.. All the Osteo drugs have side effects..

I have read reviews about Evenity. They are not good and it is very expensive. I live in Canada.

I get my last dose in April. That will make 12. The first two, I only had soreness and a little swelling in my arms (two shots, one in each arm). By the third one, only a little soreness the day of, nothing after. And no reactions in any other way. I will get another bone density scan after that and see the results. Hoping it is a good one.
