Isn't it odd that almost all the doctors are ready to handout prescription medications for anything that is wrong with us, INSTEAD of telling us that we must eat better and get the proper exercise or physical therapy to help our conditions??? I wish we had good and caring doctors who followed the oath they made, when they became a doctor.
so true Pam!
So I decided to take a break from taking Celebrex arthritis medication for a while. Anyway, I’m looking for a supplement to take for joint pain and my osteoarthritis. What does everyone else take? Brand names of supplements, not just like MSM, Curcumin etc, but mgs and brand names too please. Thank you.
@A MyOsteoTeam Member, i also take vitamin C,D3, K2 & FISH OIL.
I have enough calcium in my blood.
I might look into collagen.
Cheers Josie xo

My mother took Fosamax for over 8 years and still broke her hip. I have friends who have tried the shots and still broken bones. What have you found the most effective treatment for osteoporosis? I am also trying the exercise program by Margaret Martin. I already exercise daily and this helps me focus on a program particular to osteoporosis; including tips on what not to do. I have also heard that your diet is also a factor? Has anyone found this to be true? Thanks so much.

Calcium supplements cause constipation for me and since I have had issues with this due to a bowel obstruction surgery, as well as IBS with fibromyalgia, more of that issue I really don't need. Is there any calcium product that is less constipating? I do take 3000mg vit D and 200 mg Magnesium daily and eat a lot of calcium rich foods.
I buy it 2 bottles at a time and always get the 120 quantity bottles to save money
It seems like many people that have osteoporosis also have osteoarthritis which also effects the bones. Hard to work on both at the same time. Any suggestions
Thank you, Carley, you are so right that one change can make a huge difference. I am glad that you found the video useful. I really liked that the doctor explained why each movement was important.
thank for your information, I appreciate it!
