Members shared widespread experiences with neck pain, describing it as stiffness that worsens with prolonged positions like sleeping on the back, working at computers, or looking down at devices. Several members offered practical relief strategies including heat therapy, Biofreeze, gentle stretching and rotation exercises, physical therapy referrals, magnesium oil, and over-the-counter pain relievers like Tylenol and ibuprofen, with one particularly helpful tip being to elevate devices on cushions to avoid bending the neck downward. A recurring theme was the connection between posture and pain, whether from computer use, poor pillow support, or underlying conditions like disc compressions and arthritis, with members encouraging each other to identify the source through medical consultation while finding comfort in shared experiences.

Looks like we all are having neck pain..oh it can be so uncomfortable too. I do not have a computer, only an iPad.. so now when I sit in my comfy chair in the livingroom, I put 2 or 3 cushions on my lap and set my iPad high so that I am looking straight at the iPad and not bending my neck down. It has helped considerablyso far. I do like the idea of neck ER ises too!!

Yes, great idea! I also do abit of neck rotations, like look down to floor, thenroll head gently to the right and then slowly back down and then to the left. I hear little crinkles in my neck so need to be careful...also I have a bean type of bag or maybe it is rice, but warm in micro wave and put on my neck .feels so good. Also I take ibuprofen 400g and 1000 mg Tylenol daily and it helps. But best of all is heaping up the cushions on your lap to use your phone or iPad..and to watch tv if needed...
