Members offered compassionate support and practical advice for someone experiencing knee and leg pain following a pelvic fracture, with many emphasizing the importance of contacting a physician or orthopedic specialist about any new pain. Several members shared creative solutions for managing physical therapy exercises when mobility is limited, including doing floor exercises on the bed instead, using a long scarf looped around the foot to assist with leg lifts, and positioning near furniture for support when getting up. A recurring theme was the understanding that healing from broken bones takes much longer than expected, with members encouraging slow movement, frequent position changes, and patience while acknowledging the frustration and emotional toll of limited mobility.

try using a long scarf to help lift your leg. Just nestle the center of it it in the instep of your foot and lift upwards. For a while I had to step on the scarf then gently fall back onto my bed.
As far as getting down on the floor, make sure you are close to the couch then when finished sit upright, roll to the couch and using your good leg and arms pull yourself up. You can do this.

Neither can I get up from the floor so I had to do the exercises on my bed. It was not easy but it helped. ๐Ÿ˜‡
