Anyone Using Nutritional Apps On Their Phones To Determine Dietary Calcium (and Other Minerall/vitamin) Intakes?

Hello - As a software engineer (and a woman with osteoporosis) I am thinking of putting together a phone app which would be helpful to people with osteoporosis. I know there are apps out there which will tell you how much calcium you are getting in your food - wondering if anyone is using them and what you like/don't like about them.

What other sorts of things might a phone app be helpful for with monitoring osteoporosis - maybe setting exercise goals and sending reminders? setting goals… read more

An app that keeps count of the mgs. of calcium ingested throughout the day. For example, user enters each meal and snack time and usual intake of calcium (e.g., Breakfast: oatmeal (1/3 cup=19 mgs.; almond milk (1 cup=600 mgs.).
User would check the box for each item indicating amount of calcium taken so far--and at end of day, you can check daily total.

Keeping tabs on exercise would help; although, I do the same exercise daily, plus or minus yoga. have not tracked time spent--just know as a ball-park total.
