I have read many anecdotes about side effects of Prolia. How problematic have side effects been compared to Evenity ?

I
I took prolix for 5 years and did gain some bone mass but sustained 2.
Vertebra fractures during that time I had a bone biopsy that recommend evenity. It is horribly expensive so I am waiting to see how much my insurance will pay

I took Prolia for several years with no problems but then I started having hip and groin pain and the commercials I was seeing on TV stated that was one of the side effects. I asked my doctor and she said it was not...I said..."have you ever watched their own commercials?" to which she responded it would not hurt to skip one shot. 4 months later I had 8 compression fractures in my spine...and my new medical team tells me it is from not taking that one shot. I had kyphoplasty on 3 of the fractures which helped lessen the pain to make it more bearable. They left the other 5 to heal themselves. After that surgery is when I found my new team at the Osteoporosis and Bone Fragility Clinic at Allegheny Health Network. They put me on Evenity. My GP (who told me I could miss that shot) put me on Tymlos and would have to give myself a shot once a day for 2 years which totally freaked me out. So I found the clinic. I'm get my 7th dose of Evenity next week and after one year have to go back on Prolia. This is a long journey. Doing osteoporosis physical therapy which I helping a lot I think.
