Four weeks ago, I had a bad bicycle crash and had multiple cuts, road rash, and bruising. Last week, I had xrays because of continuing shortness of breath and pain/pressure on the left side of my chest and back. I have five fractured ribs--2 to 6. It is used to take deep breaths. I am using a Voldyne device where I inhale slowly 10 times every 2 or 3 hours.

I have broken about five ribs and of course have arthritis in them. I have a hard time breathing in when the barometric pressure changes.

I fell in Feb. and have several fractured vertebrae. I’ve had SOB ever since. I think it’s specifically related to the fractures at T11 & T12. The slightest strain and I cannot get my breath.
