Members rallied around someone newly diagnosed and struggling with severe pain and limited medication options due to a sensitive stomach, with many advocating for the annual Reclast infusion as a gentler alternative to oral medications like Fosamax. Several members shared their personal experiences with CBD oil, reporting mixed results, some found it reduced pain levels significantly while others experienced little to no relief, and many noted the high cost and variable legality depending on location. A recurring theme was the importance of keeping the body moving despite pain, advocating for oneself with medical providers, and exploring alternatives like hydrotherapy, topical remedies, and medications such as Meloxicam when traditional treatments aren't tolerated.

It’s a needle going into the crook of your elbow with a tube leading to the bag of medication. It takes about 20 mins to run through. You are monitored throughout, sitting in a comfy chair and given tea or coffee! You should drink plenty of water before and after. This is all done in a hospital or clinic setting.

That is terrible - people with stomach and digestive issues should NOT take fosamax! I insisted on being given the infusion instead!

CBD is the non-psychoactive agent in cannabis. It works on inflammation, pain, epilepsy and many, many other health related issues..
I have no idea if it's available in Australia but it certainly should be!!!

I'd tried darn near everything available, (except Prolia) but my bone cells just weren't producing new bone...at long last, I began using cbd oil and within 6 months my bone cells were producing new bone.

I agree with Kathy. I don't use it myself...but I hear that it works for several.
