I,d Love To Know How Many Have Had Knee Replacement Surgery, And How Did It Go..
It is harder than a hip replacement.. I had both. Wish I did not put it off so long, because it doesn’t get better until then. I do not have any pain. The important thing is right after the knee surgery, you need to start PT. If you wait, you build scar tissue. Everyone is different. So pick a good doctor that does plenty of these surgeries.
I have had left and right knee replacement 2014 three months apart.
Very successful no pain no problems. Important to do physio (at home) before surgery and immediately after surgery. I was up walking with walking frame the next morning.
However I had bad reactions to pain medication and could only use bags of ice.
No problems to this day.
I had good luck with knee replacement. Have to force yourself some in
Physical therapy.
Had a hip and a knee replaced. The pain will go away before you know it. Important to start PT ASAP
Thanks so much everyone , I go to have a chat with the team this Friday , so maybe not too far off now..
