I have a Rheumatologist and an Endocrinologist who actually talk to each other and together they have given me my mobility back and treated my fear and anxiety. Good luck and I hope you have as much good treatment as I have. 😊
Endocrinologist 😊
An Endocrinologist specializes in osteoporosis; they also specialize in diabetes, and granular issues such as thyroid issues.
My daughter happened to work for my Orthopedic Dr. When I had my femur fracture. After rod and pin and a few months therapy he referred me to my Endocrinologist. We began 2 yrs of daily self injections of Forteo. I recovered some bone mass so to maintain was then to every 6 months Prolia injections. Have some further bone mass added. Vit.D 3, calcium, good diet. On this path 6 yrs now😊🐾
Hi. I’m in Australia. I see a rheumatologist. He is a specialist in Osteoporosis and Rheumatoid arthritis. Take back your power. If you feel your doctor or specialist is not listening to you. CHANGE YOUR MEDICAL TEAM. We all know our own bodies, so if they won’t listen. Make changes. They have to listen and not just rush you through with a new prescription. Everyone deserves the best treatment and support that is available. Nothing else is acceptable. I wish you all the best.
