One thing that may cause pain is if the person has Hyperparathyroidism. that in itself can contribute to osteoporosis, and additionally can cause pain.

Yes Jenny I'm with you on that one, I have broke or fractured a few bones granted but my pains are all over my body and deep seated in my bones too, 🥀

Crackers1-- Fibromyalgia is bad enough
I've had both Osteoporosis is worse for pain
About 2 years ago I fell off a chair dusting up high on furniture Until then I never realized I had Osteoporosis =fine porous bones ) One year later fell over a toy broke the other wrist The thinner our bones get the more subject we are to break those fine porous bones :Last MRI showed no breaks I'm a lot more careful never walk into a dark room and keep thing out of your way
Do not climb on a chair like this fool (ME) did ha take care
