Has ANYONE Been Happy On Prolia??

I'm a 72 yr old white female who had last dexascan 2 yrs ago. Left hip T score T-2.6. I'm terrified to have dexascan now as I'm afraid it's much worse. Just hoping to get some Prolia reviews that are void of horrible side effects.

Members responded to a question about positive experiences with Prolia, with many sharing that they have taken multiple injections with no side effects and even seen improvements in bone density scores, including one member who reported a remarkable 52% increase in lumbar bone density. Several members described the importance of staying on the medication consistently, noting that stopping Prolia increases fracture risk, while others shared concerns about slow bone healing with dental procedures and worsening scores despite treatment. A recurring theme was the value of combining Prolia with weight-bearing exercise, walking, swimming, and alternative approaches like OsteoStrong, calcium supplements, and dietary changes, as members weighed the medication's benefits against potential risks and sought personalized paths forward.

I have been on Prolia for five years. The first dexa scan after only two injections showed a 52% increase in bone density in my lumbar area. Dr. said it was the most improvement she had ever seen. I've had no side effects from it at all. I am 78 and I will not stop the Prolia. I did stop it about 3 yrs ago since it was putting me in the donut hole in April and I felt I needed my breathing meds more than the bone meds. Big mistake.... If you stop taking it your chances of another fracture within a year increases. I had two compression fractures in my spine & decided I needed to go back with Prolia. I have had 3 injections since then and no new fractures.

About to go for my 5th Prolia jab. No side effects, unless you count an arthritic toe? Dexa scan shows bone density improvement. I am 75 and walk every day, except Thursdays when I swim 35-40 lengths of 25 metre pool.
