Try walking slower. Maybe that would work for you, Granterry.

Yes, doesn't even have to have an incline.

I do walk lots just not on the treadmill. I can walk on it slow but it does not give me the cardio I need

Walking is super helpful for arthritis in the hips. It allows me to golf with no pain!!
