I really want to improve my diet this year and eat more "bone friendly" foods and less junk. I keep reading how great Chia seeds and Flaxseed are for bone health and would like to add them to my diet. If you use them, how do you use them? Thanks!

Members enthusiastically shared practical ways to incorporate chia seeds and flaxseed into their diets for bone health, with the most popular methods being mixing them into smoothies, sprinkling them on cereal or oatmeal, and blending ground flaxseed into porridge. Several members mentioned starting with small amounts like one to two teaspoons to avoid digestive upset, with some noting that flaxseed can help with regularity. A recurring theme was the ease of adding these seeds to everyday foods without significantly changing taste, alongside creative ideas like chia seed pudding, baking them into bread, or even hiding ground flaxseed in quesadillas for picky eaters.

I only use a teaspoon or two. I don’t use it daily but flaxseeds are good to keep you regular if you’re constipated. 😉
