Periodic numbness I have had, but not the shock sensation. Oddly I found that the numbness went away when I paid attention to my posture. Iā€™d been slouching out of habit. I only became aware of that in a yoga class. I found it tiring and hard at first to pull my shoulder blades together and sit upright, but now it is second nature. Obviously the shock sensation should be checked out, but try watching how you stand and sit.

I have had shock pain in various parts of my body. They come for awhile and then go for awhile. It ca happen in my legs, abdomen, hand, foot etc. Have no idea why. My dr. said it can happen when blood sugar is high. I am now on Metformin and it is better.
