I Had A Lumbar Fusion Last Year And It Is Not Healing As Quickly As I Expected. Does Osteopenia Affect Healing?

My last MRI was in August and there is no bone growth, but the screws are stable. Have not had a new DEXA scan, but due at the end of next year. It has been exactly one year now. Still have some symptoms, but managing.

Yes, and in legs, Find taking magnesium tablets helps a lot. Also magnesium spray is magic.

Hi I am taking prolia 2 years now, before that and since I get a lot of muscle pain in my legs, I take magnesium which seems to help and that gets way worse if I stop , just wondering if other people have had that experience too

I have been on Prolia now for 1 year. Been experiencing more bone and muscle pain.
I am going to look into taking magnesium.

I attend Chiropractor once a month also massage therapy..they are both aware of osteoporosis..
I find this helps so much or woyld be in constant pain from muscle spasms..
