I'm in a great deal of pain most days from several spinal fractures and spend a lot of time lying on my bed as it's the only way I get relief from the pain. I have a compromised immune system (lupus and antiphospholipid syndrome) among many other health issues, if I cut or injure myself for example, I take a long time to heal

Hello,
Has anyone been on teriparatide therapy?
I am 58 years old and my doctor insists that I start some cure similar to Forteo (I can't remember the exact name now), but I have never been really friendly towards medicines and drugs. Once I ended up at CityMd because of half a pill of Tylenol...
Either my body is very sensitive or I am an irrecoverable hypochondriac.

I’ve sometimes had difficulty swallowing the alendronate …I have a hiatal hernia and it’s improved some since taking Pepcid. But it still can feel like it’s stuck in my esophagus- not good for this drug of course. Another option is effervescent alendronate (binosto). (A liquid). Has anyone tried? Otherwise I’ll have to do the infusions. Curious what has worked for others with similar swallowing difficulties. Thx in advance!
I have osteoporosis in both hips & osteopenia in my lower spine. When standing in one place my lower left side of back and hip will start hurting. Sometimes a sharp pain in hip. I have had 2 MRI’s as I was not thinking osteoporosis and they were normal.
