Thank you for your response. I was aware of the possible side effects but wanted to hear from someone who had experienced some of them.
I was on Aclasta , a Bisphosphonate IV medication.
I was on it for over 5 years twice a year as I was fracturing all the time.
Unfortunately I experienced Severe bone and muscle pain.
Hair loss and hair colour change from redhead to blonde. I also got Osteonecrosis on both sides of my jaw bone, which required extensive dental work surgery.
Due to all these issues, my Bisphosphonates were stopped.

well 3 years on they decided they have not improved my bones so need injections. They have caused severe GORD and the tablets for that cause horrible headaches so they've been a nightmare for me :-( x
Bisphosphonates like alendronate (also known as Fosamax) can have both common and rare side effects that you should be aware of.
Common side effects include:
• Bone or muscle pain
