@A MyOsteoTeam Member hear hear! I try to be positive about my situation with Osteoporosis and have as good a day as possible. I get out walking most days to improve my balance and my health and generally speaking I’m happy at 83

Hi Cindy. So sorry to hear your compression fractures. Unfortunately where a fracture occurs, nerves are also involved. Pain is likely to occur. But remember that it's your attitude towards the pain and how you handle the medications prescribed. I've learnt to differentiate between bone pain, muscular pain, nerve pain. I made friends with my severe osteoporosis and all of my fractures, as well as my lung disease.
Waking up each day with an attitude of having a good day... and focusing my attention on just the next hour, proved that I can manage my pain.
Always here to chat.

Hello Karen I will try to get encouragement from your wise words. I'm trying hard to deal with chronic pain from 5 breaks in spine.gone from nerve Pain to skeletal pain all over back. I've a problem with medications so try to cope with paracetamol codeine and ibuprofen and occasionally half sleeping tablet. I don't want to sound like poor me but sadly pain has consumed my life. I've zolendrate infusion soon so hopefully will strengthen bones.
Thanku for positive thoughts....here goes
Helen
