Members shared a wide range of natural and over-the-counter solutions for managing medication-related constipation, with prunes emerging as the most consistently recommended remedy alongside increased water intake, fiber-rich foods like fruits and vegetables, and daily movement. Several members found relief through specific products including Senna tablets, Metamucil, Miralax (polyethylene glycol), Dulcolax, lactulose, stool softeners, and probiotics, while others discovered that macadamia nuts, hot tea or coffee in the morning, and kiwi fruit helped keep them regular. A recurring theme was the frustration of living with unpredictable bowel patterns and the need to experiment with different combinations to find what works best for each individual body, balanced by genuine encouragement and practical wisdom from those who understand the daily challenge.

Good morning Judy. Well, it sounds like you're on the right track! I was going to suggest prunes. Natural, delicious, full of soluble and insoluble fibre, iron, folate and potassium. Insoluble fibre helps our gut to extract the maximum amount of nutients from our food, so that's why they are therefore good for the immune system, digestive system, heart and blood pressure, bones and general well-being. Hope you are feeling zippy again soon. Love and hugs. God bless. Bevx0 πŸ˜Šβ€πŸ«‚πŸ’ͺπŸ¦΄πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ

I definitely recommend Prunes as it is natural and will not do any damage to the bowel. I used the prunes after my knee surgey instead of what they wanted to give me in hospital and it work swonders
