Thank you
Hello Neats. I am in the 7th year of Prolia injections. I do notice increased pain along my thoracic and lumbar spine a few weeks before my injection. I’m also dealing with osteoarthritis of the entire spine which also causes chronic pain. Changes in the weather (humidity, dampness) , fatigue cause increased pain in affected areas. All of the literature states that you can have pain as a side effect from treatment. Talk with your physicians about this discomfort and see if there are any changes in the hardware in your hip. Good luck.
@A MyOsteoTeam Member hello I also have severe Osteoarthritis in my spine and all my fingers and toes plus the bones of my feet are affected by this. I’m walking daily for exercise and I use my lightweight 4 wheeler walker for balance I have found that walking regularly helps (also I lost 16 kg between my Bone Density test and my 6monthly Prolia injection over 2 years and I am feeling very well now.
Yes the weather conditions can impact my joint pain!
I’m taking 2x1000iu Vitamin D 3 capsules daily plus a Fish Oil capsule daily and Magnesium daily and it is helping me.
Hugs from Judyxx
