Yes, I could not take Alendronate, which also happened to be in the Infusion that I was given for 2 years ago. I had a very bad reaction to it, which left me in severe pain for 4-5 months. I swore I would never take anything like it again. My Rheumatologist had me on strong meds during that time. This time, after being diagnosed with severe osteoporosis, I am trying Prolia. So far no side effects that I know of. I am in some pain, but that could be due to the bad fall I had last month.
