Hi there, I’ve been dealing with osteo since my late 60s. I was prescribed allendronate which seemed to boost my density scores. Thanks to a fellow osteo friend, she told me that 5 years was the max to be on it. Having changed docs, she didn’t catch it! I’d been on 7 years, luckily with no side effects. Now I just take supplements and am due for another scan next year. I’m really worried about the results.
